Did you know that Sunflower seeds are very low in Cholesterol? They are also a good source of Pantothenic Acid, Phosphorus, Copper, Manganese, and Selenium, and are a very good source of Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol).
Here are some other fun facts about our favorite seeds:
- The Sunflower originally came from the U.S.A!
- There are more than 60 kinds of Sunflower plants in the U.S.
- One Sunflower plant can have up to 2000 seeds in it’s crown!!
- Sunflower Seeds come in both Black and Striped.
- The Seeds you eat are typically Striped, while Sunflower Oil comes from the Black ones.
- Sunflowers are the state flower for Kansas.
- There is only one flower on each Sunflower stem, which give us the distinctive single Sunflower crown.
Sunflowers are both Beautiful and Delicious! Thankfully, they are quite nutritious too- especially when you pick up some of Art’s Batch Roasted Tendersalt Sunflower seeds, which are tastier and much lower in sodium than traditional Sunflower Seeds snacks! Have you tasted the difference? Ask for Art’s at your snack food retailer or pick some up by the case (shipping included) here at our Art’s Nuts Online Product Shopping Cart!

Just wanted to let you know how much better your seeds are than the rest. I wish your company all the best, and I hope to see your product at places like Albertson’s Grocery store. They only supply David and Frito Lay.
How I rank the seeds.
1. Art’s
2. California Jumbo’s
3. Spitz
4. Frito Lay
5. David’s
Do you guy’s give tours of your facility?
Thanks Again.

Thank you, Joe! We love to get those kinds of compliments. Our roaster learned the ropes from his father- who still works here after almost 30 years! I’ll pass along your comments to both of them.
We don’t have any official plant tours. But that might change if we get enough interest.
